Meet Dan.

I have lived in Salem for 9 years.  I am married and have three children, one of whom is a resident of Salem.  For the past 25 years, I have been actively involved in managing technology efforts.  13 of those were spent at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, one the largest accounting firms in the world, and the last 9 have been spent with Boston Childrens Hospital. At BCH I manage technology projects that help to improve clinical care.

Prior to that I was an attorney. This includes experience at a large law firm and as a special assistant prosecutor (where I was part of the successful prosecution of a double homicide). I have also worked with Legal Aid in Vermont in representing the mentally ill pro-bono.

Occasionally I write about politics.  I have written for CNN, Bulwark and Crystal Ball and have been cited by writers as diverse as those who write for the National Review and the Washington Post. I also contributed data to the Washington Post’s 2020 presidential primary simulation.

I am a member of the Washington DC Bar Association and am a graduate of the Boston University School of Law, where I won the Moot Court Competition.  I also graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Vermont and hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Rochester.

In my spare time I ski, play golf, run (I am a frequent user of the rail trail) and cheer for the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
